Information for students seeking thesis supervision
I supervise original research theses. I do not supervise compilatory theses or projects consisting primarily of a literature review.
Before approaching me
For students at Politecnico di Torino, a pre-thesis total score of 101.5 or above is recommended, and priority is normally given to students meeting that threshold.
Training or familiarity with quantitative or qualitative research methods is useful, but not required if you are prepared to learn.
Developing the project
Most available topics are broad areas rather than ready-made projects. You will be expected to develop a specific and answerable research question, identify suitable evidence, and carry out the research yourself with guidance.
